PRODUCT CARE

PREPARATION:

To make sure your mask is ready to use, be sure to inspect for any debris or damage that may have occurred during shipment. We want you to have the best experience possible, that’s what V3 is designed for. Pretreat lens with a light baby shampoo to support your masks anti-fog materials.

TO CLEAN:

Rinse and soak with tap water using a small amount of detergent to help with cleaning. Wipe the mask down with a microfiber or non-abrasive towel to prevent water spots and then allow the mask to air dry. Store the mask in a protected space, and avoid exposure to direct sunlight and black rubber as it could stain the silicone insert. Avoid leaving the mask in sandy area when not in use.

INSTRUCTIONS

SAFETY:

V3 is designed for surface snorkeling. Full face snorkel masks are not recommended for free diving. Always take breaks while snorkeling, and always follow the buddy rule.

PERFECT FIT:

Pull the straps of the mask over your head to check the fit. If the mask is too loose or too tight, take the mask off of your face and adjust the straps accordingly. For an optimal experience, shave any facial hair you may have as it could prevent a proper seal and may cause leaking in the mask.

GETTING STARTED:

Swim on the surface and breathe calmly through your mouth or nose. Keeping your chin slightly up will create the best breathing experience. If you feel light-headed from overexertion, utilize the integrated quick release clips on straps to remove the mask instantly.

LEAK PREVENTION:

The dry top snorkel design will prevent water from entering through the top of the snorkel. If water does happen to leak into your mask, simply lift your head out of the water and it will drain out of the chin valve. No need to remove your mask!

Design Story.

  • Work of Breathing.

Work of breathing (WOB) is defined as how hard it is to breathe through your snorkel and how much energy it takes. After years of assuming that CO2 related buildup was cause for snorkel related accidents, a Hawaii study found that snorkeling accidents are NOT related to CO2 but to a phenomenon called ROPE (Rapid Onset Pulmonary Edema). Work of breath has been identified as a critical factor of a safe experience.

  • Actively Tested.

We tested V3 against the top competitors for full face snorkel masks, proving V3 to have up to 600% better work of breathing. Verified by us and third parties, V3 goes above and beyond to provide safety of work of breath, proper airflow and controlled CO2 build up. Seaview remains committed to continuing its testing, safety and development of relevant standards for full face snorkel masks.

  • 180° Full View.

Our V3 lens has been designed and refined for the largest view possible, without compromising breathability, comfort or safety. With a panoramic view, we’ve created a better immersive experience, compared to standard snorkel masks or any other traditional goggle design. V3 also comes with an attachable GoPro mount. You won’t miss a thing.

  • Leak & Fog Prevention.

Say goodbye to leaking. The ergonomic fit and grip of our medical grade silicone is dialed. The better the fit and quality, the less fogging and leaking. We checked both boxes. If any water does sneak in, you can use the auto-drain design without needing to remove the mask. Feel comfortable next time you’re in the water.

Superior Customer Service

Received V3 masks and for trip with grandkids. We did not open until at the beach. Realized one of the mask was defective which lessened the experience but after contacting manufacturer replacement shipped without hesitation. Mask work great, easy to breath through and visual clarity is excellent.

Great view with this full-face snorkel mask!

Gosh when I first slipped into the water wearing this mask, I was genuinely amazed at the clear wide view I had, with no fogging, hardly any leakage, and so much easier to breathe using both my mouth and nose! The side latches make it much easier to put on and remove this mask, instead of having to pull the whole thing over your head, like many models require. And the straps don't need to be pulled very tight to get a good seal. I tried another brand that only had large or small, and I fell right in between: small was too tight, and large was too big, and I couldn't get a good seal. So glad Seaview offers a Medium size, which for me is just right. It has a much larger side snorkel for air flow, so even with vigorous swimming I don't get short of breath (or have any problem with CO2 build-up, like some full-face masks encounter). You do need to be somewhat careful tilting your head to the right, since the floating ball stops air from coming into the snorkel if it gets submerged (which also keeps water from entering the mask). If any water does get inside, you just raise your head, and the water drains out from your chin. Some folks have complained about the snorkel being difficult to remove; however the latest model includes a slight indent where the snorkel meets the mask, and also recommends using only one band (instead of two) to secure the seal. That makes it easier to remove for transportation and storage. Overall, I definitely think it's worth the extra money to get this model! I've only tried it so far in a pool -- can't wait to swim over some coral reefs one day ;-)

really nice snorkel mask

can be a bit finicky to get the seals all right, but once you do, man. works a treat. As other have said, the tube is difficult to remove once inserted, so keep in mind if you have to pack/fly with it. In my mind though, worth the tradeoff.
